Golden Jubilee Medal of His Majesty Sultan

Darjah Seri Paduka Mahkota Brunei Yang Amat Mulia

The medal was instituted in three classes to commemorate the 2017 Golden Jubilee of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. The three classes are identical except for the metal from which they are made– Gold, Silver and Bronze.

The flora motif decorating the circumference of the medal was adapted from similar motifs found on the royal crown. Each of the motif was designed with five petals to represent the coronation date (5th October, 1962) and His Majesty’s fifty years reign.
